Audience, message and review, in one place
Explore the campaign steps. Review who receives it, who waits, who is excluded, the schedule and the cost estimate.
This is an interactive example. Scheduling here does not send any messages.
1,240 customers in the audience right now; 164 can receive WhatsApp marketing.
1,076 won't receive it: 45 without WhatsApp marketing consent and 1,031 with US numbers, where Meta doesn't deliver WhatsApp marketing. The audience locks at send time: anyone who joins the groups before then also receives it.A campaign only takes a marketing template approved in your Meta account. The product is already linked.
Official WhatsApp, with a cost estimate before sending
“Up to” is an estimated ceiling, excluding taxes, in your WhatsApp account’s billing currency at Meta. No currency conversion. An estimate is not always available; the review explains why.
Only people who opted in to WhatsApp receive it
Having a customer’s phone number is not enough. Campaigns require WhatsApp consent; email consent does not apply to this channel. People who asked you to stop are excluded, including from checkout reminders.
Meta blocks WhatsApp marketing for some destinations, including US numbers. Those recipients are excluded from the send and its estimate.
More than 30 templates to start with
Choose a WhatsApp template, adapt your store’s message and check Meta’s approval before sending. Every message offers a way to stop receiving marketing.
Choose a time and see which sending rules apply
The scheduled date uses your store’s time zone. The review also shows the sending window and clock: the customer’s when known, or the store’s. People waiting for the window or the interval between messages are sent to later.
Questions about whatsapp campaigns
- Is the amount in the review what I will pay?
- It is an estimated ceiling based on messages that can be delivered, at Meta’s rates, excluding taxes and in your WhatsApp account’s currency. Meta charges for deliveries; its invoice is the reference. The audience of a scheduled campaign is finalized at send time.
- What if there is no estimate?
- The review explains why, such as a failure to read the account currency or a missing applicable rate table. Missing information never becomes a zero cost. The absence of an estimate alone does not block sending.
- Can I message someone who left a phone number at checkout?
- Only if that person opted in to WhatsApp. A phone number alone and email consent do not authorize a send. The same rule applies to checkout reminders; people who opted out do not receive them.
- Are Meta’s charges included in the subscription?
- No. Meta’s message charges are separate from your Vertia subscription. The estimate helps you review your campaign before sending.
