01Where to start

In short: find your situation below. Each document covers one subject, and the others point to it.

You run a store and use, or plan to use, Vertia

• Terms of Service: the contract between you and Vertia. Read it before you sign up; it covers what we provide, how billing works and how to leave.
• Acceptable Use and Anti-Spam Policy: what can and cannot be sent through Vertia. Read it before your first campaign or your first contact import.
• Data Processing Agreement: how we process your customers' and creators' data on your behalf. Read it when your legal team, or one of your own customers, asks how the data is protected.
• Sub-processors: the companies that help us provide the service, where they are and what safeguards apply. Check it when you need to map where data goes, and subscribe to change notices.
• Security: our safeguards in plain language and how we tell you about incidents. Handy for answering security questionnaires.

You received a message from a store, or you shop at a store that uses Vertia

• Privacy Policy: who looks after your data and how to exercise your rights. In short: the store decides about your data; Vertia processes it on the store's behalf.

02Which document prevails

In short: each subject lives in one document only. If two seem to say different things, this order applies.

1. For personal data processed on a store's behalf: the Data Processing Agreement.
2. For what is sent through Vertia: the Acceptable Use and Anti-Spam Policy.
3. For everything else: the Terms of Service.

All documents are available in Portuguese and English with the same content. If they differ, the Portuguese version prevails.

In short: Vertia is a product of Vert Tech, a Brazilian company based in Porto Alegre.

04Versions

In short: when a document changes, the previous version is kept here, with the dates it applied.

Material changes are announced in advance, as set out in the Terms. The sub-processor list has its own notice rule, on the Sub-processors page.
